CST sessions are calm and gentle, with no discomfort involved. Your baby will be lying comfortably on a soft surface or in arms and I will use light touch to support their body’s rhythms. Most babies fall into a relaxed state, some even fall asleep during the session. Parents often find it to be a soothing experience as well!
Sessions typically last around 40-60 minutes. Everybody respond differently to the treatment, so we’ll always go at Your pace. There is no rush; I take the time to ensure both you and your baby feel calm and supported.
The number of sessions can vary depending on yours and your baby’s needs and the concerns being addressed. For some babies, three session can make a noticeable difference, while others may benefit from a series of sessions to work through ongoing issues like feeding challenges or digestive discomfort. We’ll discuss a plan together that suits your baby’s pace.

Yes, CST is incredibly gentle and non-invasive. The technique is designed to be safe and supportive for babies of all ages. It’s often used to help with a wide range of conditions, including colic, reflux, and birth trauma.
CST can be deeply restorative for mamas as well! Many mothers find that it helps with physical discomfort from pregnancy and birth, alleviates stress and anxiety, and allows time for deep relaxation. If you are navigating the postpartum journey, CST can support your body’s healing process and help you reconnect with yourself.
Infant reflux occurs when the contents of your baby's stomach flow back into the esophagus, causing discomfort, fussiness, or even pain. Common signs include frequent crying, arching of the back, feeding difficulties, refusal to feed, spitting up excessively, or irritability after feeding and so much more. Is your baby suffering?
Unfortunately, it's extremely difficult to pinpoint exactly what’s causing your baby’s discomfort. There are many reasons for reflux, and each child is different. By getting to the root cause, we can really understand what's happening for your baby and work toward finding the best solution.
CST can help by gently releasing tension in your baby’s body, especially around the head, neck, and digestive system. This may reduce physical tension that is contributing to reflux symptoms. By calming the nervous system and improving digestion, CST can help babies feel more comfortable after feeding, reduce spitting up, and relieve discomfort. However it doesn't get to the root cause
How I work with reflux is by assessing your baby’s symptoms through a questionnaire and videos. Once I have this information, I’ll book a Zoom call to discuss my findings and how we can move forward with supporting your baby in becoming reflux-free. The number of sessions with my Reflux Root Package is all included in the package, so you’ll have everything you need to address your baby’s reflux fully.
Unfortunately, we're often led to believe that babies will simply grow out of reflux. But reflux can persist until the underlying issues are addressed. While symptoms may improve as your baby grows and the digestive system matures with age but how long do you wait? Addressing the root cause with the right support can make all the difference now.
Absolutely! Reflux is a symptom, not a diagnosis. Health care professionals are often quick to say it's reflux or silent reflux, without actually explaining why its happening.
Reflux medication isn’t an antibiotic; it’s a suppressant designed to reduce stomach acid, and it can come with its own set of problems. My approach focuses on understanding the root cause and supporting your baby to being reflux free.
